Waimea Canyon Couples session

Hannah and Kyle (AKA my brother and sister in law) were brave enough to hike the Canyon trail black pipe loop with me for their session. This hike was 3.7 miles round trip and was definitely challenging but SO worth it. There was a lot of uphills, large rocks and slippery wet spots, but when we finally made it to the end it was truly breathtaking. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Kyle and Hannah’s 3 year wedding anniversary was just 1 month before we did this session, so it was a little anniversary session for the two of them! Check out some of their session below!

This hike took us about 2 hours total and we were up there for about an hour taking photos! So 3 hours total out of our day. My husband Daniel and my dad were with us as well. My dad is 65 and completed this hike and kept up with us which seriously impressed me! There wasn’t too many people up here like there was at some of the lookout points in the Waimea Canyon, which is nice. If you are visiting the island of Kauai anytime soon the Waimea canyon is a must! They call it the Grand Canyon of the Pacific and it absolutely is!
