This day was incredible and unique, and I’m honored that I had the chance to second shoot with the amazing and talented Leanne from Lea Marie Photography. This wedding was my boyfriend’s brother Kyle and his now wife, Hannah. My boyfriend Danny are I are really close to them and I was so excited to see the two of them become one in marriage. Although Kyle & Hannah live in Ohio now, Hannah is originally from Abilene which is why they wanted to get married in her home state. I knew that Lea Marie Photography was going to be photographing the wedding and Kyle and Hannah had encouraged me at thanksgiving dinner to reach out to her and see if second shooting was a possibility, so I did. Long story short Leanne allowed me to second shoot with her and I was soo ecstatic. We flew into Abilene 2 days before the wedding to meet up with the family and hang out before the wedding festivities began. This was my first time ever going to Texas and it was really different than the Ohio that i’m used to. On Friday we had an awesome rehearsal dinner to prepare for the big day.
On Saturday I arrived at the venue, Sabrina Cedars at 9:30 am to help set up decorations and get everything in order. Around 12pm is when the photographing started. We started with getting in all those details shots.
While photographing the details we waited for the groom & groomsmen to arrive. They were such a fun and outgoing group to work with.
The boys of course got ready sooner than the bridesmaids so when they were done we went out and did group shots.
We went back in to capture the gorgeous bride and her bridesmaids getting ready for the big day.
After Hannah was all ready she decided to do a first look with her father and his reaction was a real tear jerker’
We went out and did group photos with all the bridesmaids and it was a super windy day to say the least!
Next was the ceremony, Kyle and Hannah chose not to do a first look, so her walking down the isle was such a special moment.
After the ceremony we took the wedding party to do some group photos
We snuck Hannah and Kyle away for some photos with just the two of them which was soo fun! The lighting was perfect so we took advantage of it before the reception
The rest of the evening was the reception where the best man and maid of honor gave their wonderful speeches and then we danced the night away! If you’ve made it this far, thanks so much for reading about this wonderful couples day!
